Mijos Foundation
Our Mission
Our Mission
Circumstances beyond a young person's control may shape their starting point, but should never stand between them and their full potential. The Mijos Foundation exists to build pathways to opportunity for children and young adults facing barriers through athletics, mentorship, and secure housing. We believe that uplifting young people today strengthens families and communities while creating a legacy of possibility for generations to come.
From our founder
I was living in [a] shed. I had to figure it out, lean on people, and accept help from many people along the way.
